M4WEST was established in 2006 as a leading Drum & Bass event, after launching their name with a west wales premier performance from Pendulum.

The event stood fast as one of West Wales biggest ever seen Drum & Bass events, and began to set new standards.

The event sold out in 4 days, without a single flyer or poster hitting the streets!

Tickets were in such high demand they were being sold on ebay for nearly three times their face value.

It was this initial success that made M4WEST the much loved brand name it is today.

After a year of successful events hosted by Mickey Finn, Goldie, Dillinja, John B and The S8N Syndicate to name a few M4WEST began to turn their attention further into the music.

Having been inspired by the flow of Drum & Bass music down the M4WEST corridor, the M4WEST team looked to bring that music movement to the very ends of wales and beyond.

M4WEST RECORDINGS is now the new front end of M4WEST.

The aim is to become the carriageway of musical movement between urban and rural musical cultures.

Also to bring music listeners cutting edge music and supply our artists with a solid platform to move and evolve.

The M4WEST vision is clear, known for delivering truly ground breaking music, we intend to continue the trend.
